This is a story from me, to you (:

Once upon a time, there were two fruit juice stalls. Stall A, and Stall B.
They existed along the same stretch of stalls in a hawker centre.
Many people from all walks of life and backgrounds came, attracted by the good food the stretch offered.
That short stretch, was a popular and ideal stretch.

These two fruit juice stalls felt that competition was existant between them (duh, it was a short stretch) so Stall A started adopting campaigns to promote their stall.
Stall A gestured to customers once they entered the stretch, loudly offering them seats and introducing them to the drinks their fruit stall had. They promoted their stall and pestered customers to buy drinks from them once they stepped into the stretch.
Stall B's shopkeepers calmly gestured behind the fuss that the other stall was making, politely approaching the customers who were unimpressed by Stall A's advertising strategies.

Their actions did not go unnoticed.

Some customers, irritated by Stall A's behaviour, brushed them aside.
Some felt bad and bought a drink from them out of courtesy.
All the Others visited Stall B, the stall that quietly gestured behind the commotion, the stall that respected and appreciated a comsumers right of choice. Gently urging on, not grappling with an individuals perception.

Stall A was indeed, too fast, too furious.
Searching for the ideal situation, a complete victory, immediate results.
Yet it resulted in repel.

Signboards are there to tell others you exist.
Its okay if you play soft music behind the signboard to interest others, but putting a live choir behind that same signboard may cause others to run far far away.
It might be too loud and striking for comfort.

Taking it slower might be a better choice :p

'GUESS THE SKETCH, FTW!'
